“It has been a tremendous honor to be selected to give a talk at TEDxWilmington. This has been a personal dream and goal. To see it being realized has filled my life with even more purpose. I am doing this to motivate people to go after their dreams no matter the challenges. My journey has been meet with ups and downs but because I love what I do it has not deterred me from my path.

I am also privileged to be representing the British Virgin Islands. All my fellow BVIslanders are expressing their support and are extremely proud. Some have event told me that it has motivated them. It is indeed a great feeling to have a whole country and even the Caribbean supporting me. I also have the support of various government members and corporate entities. Overall, the support I have been receiving is tremendous and honoring.

My daily routine consist of heading to the beach to practice my talk. I do that during the day and also at nights because I live close to the beach. I also take the time to refine my talk and consult with others to gather their opinions. This talk also lives with me all day. As I journey through my days it stays on my mind and anything that I may encounter that can contribute to the talk I take notes and find a way to fit it in my talk.

Also, as I am having various conversations, anything pertaining to my talk I would also refer to the corresponding segment. My goal is to live this talk! It is who I am and things that I have encountered with personal stories and experiences.

I am looking forward to giving my talk at the 6th Annual TEDxWilmington and inspiring minds.”
