Gudrun was born and raised in Germany where she completed her post-secondary education at the Deutsche Sporthochschule Koeln with a M.Education and M. Physical Education, specializing in Health Care and Sports for the Handicapped as well as Youth Services/Leisure Time (Recreational) Activity. Gudrun worked in Germany as a teacher for physical education and remedial gymnastics in the public school system and for further education.

Since her immigration to Canada in 1981 Gudrun has focused her professional education on complementary medicine. She is a Clinical Herbal Therapist, Bach Flower practitioner, certified reflexologist, certified iridologist, sclerologist, and light/colour therapist. For over 30 years Gudrun has maintained a successful clinical practice in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada; she facilitates workshops both at home and internationally and is a featured guest on international radio shows.

Her deep interest in learning about other cultures and their healing traditions led her to travel to many places across the globe including India in 1974/75 where among others she was fortunate to be able to spend some time with Mother Teresa. More recently her travels have taken her to Central and South America where she has been focusing her attention on some of the traditional forms of healing.

Gudrun’s commitment to the Earth and humankind prompted her to create several publications. She is the author of two award winning books, Healing Spirituality – A Practical Guide to Understanding and Working with Bach Flowers andHealing with Bach Flower Mandalas (Coloring Book) as well as the executive producer and co-creator of the instructional DVD Herbal Pharmacy for Everyone, A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Your Own Herbal Preparations. She also created Bach Flowers Unfolding, an innovativecard deck with companion book.

Her clients see her as a compassionate professional, mentor and friend who provides them with support on their journey to health. Leading by example, Gudrun inspires others to live their lives to their full potential.
