Melissa Benbow is a educator, writer, and artist. She uses her interests in education and the arts to advocate for social change and personal growth. Specifically, her passions include equity in education, race, and self-improvement. She graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in African American studies in 2013. Since then she has worked in the non-profit sector. She intends to complete a doctorate degree in the humanities, thereafter entering into academia and expanding her career as an artists.
