“Being from the British Virgin Islands, I feel like my entire country is supporting me on this journey to TEDxWilmington. I am not only doing it for myself but for the entire BVI and of course my family. What also motivates me is the support from local companies and government officials. It is also my hope to inspire anyone to simply MAKE IT HAPPEN.

My thoughts have been consumed by this talk. I sleep, eat and breathe this talk. However, I have to admit that I am only the vessel because the ideas fill my head as I write and organize the ideas. These are concepts that I wholeheartedly believe. They are organic to my being and for this I am confident I will do an excellent job at TEDxWilmington.

My daily routine consist of heading to the beach to practice my talk. This has proven most effective. To be privileged to have such an amazing scenery and surrounded by nature has fueled my thoughts. I also interject parts of my talk on regular conversation to gauge reactions and for practicing purposes.

This is also a great opportunity for me to enhance my public speaking skills as this is necessary for entrepreneurs. It has also instill in me a new sense of purpose and confidence. I want my message to resonate deeply with those that have that burning desire to follow their dreams so I am working diligently to ensure that the message is delivered in the best possible way.

This has been a long time dream of mine. I am honored and excited to be giving a TEDxWilmington talk. This journey will foreverremain true to my heart.”
